For larger cinema camera combos, users can attach an extension module onto the roll axis, providing more space for the camera. On the other hand, for smaller DSLR combos, the extension module can be detached for greater portability. This modular design offers greater flexibility and compatibility for different shooting scenarios. The handle of the CRANE 3S is detachable, with two options available: the TransMount EasySling Handle and the TransMount SmartSling Handle. The EasySling handle extends the grip for more comfortable upright and underslung operation, while the SmartSling handle features an intuitive control panel and OLED screen for direct camera and gimbal parameter adjustments. These handles can also be combined for even greater versatility. The CRANE 3S is cross-compatible, allowing it to be used with various accessories such as motorised dollies, jibs, cable cams, and Easyrigs. The modular design of the gimbal also ensures that the camera is secure and stable, thanks to its double lock system. In addition to battery insertion, the CRANE 3S also offers a DC-IN port that supports up to 25.2V input for direct charging. The new TransMount PowerPlus Battery Pack, which can hold 6*18650 batteries, provides continuous uptime and can also be used as a compact and fast-charging power bank for other devices. The CRANE 3S is driven by a new algorithm system that enables phenomenal responsive speed and smoothness. It can withstand high winds and G-forces without compromising performance. The 55° tilted roll axis also allows for an unblocked view and enough space to mount large cinema camera combos. The gimbal also features an improved zoom and focus system, with larger lens supports and a focus wheel equipped with a white board for marking a focus range. Zooming can also be done synchronously through the SmartSling Handle. Zhiyun understands the needs of all filmmakers and offers three control options for this gimbal: control from the gimbal itself, from a smartphone, or from a motion sensor controller.
