Stand & rigs

The glidecam comes with the stabiliser, vest and arm. The whole rig can take fairly heavy cameras depending on the setup. The arm takes about 8kg, but the heaviest camera I've had on it so far has been a built down RED Scarlet, including V-lock batteries and full wireless follow focus system by balancing it with a monitor on the bottom part. 

With the 'normal' setup (just the weights on the bottom), the heaviest camera I've had on it has been a Sony FS5.

It is not the easiest of equipment to handle and needs some practice with balancing, but once you try it, it will enhance your videography giving you great results. Worth giving it a go!

 Devin Graham glidecam. Includes carry case and quick release plate. All the balancing weights are included and the gimbal is in great condition with very little friction. All is sterilised and cleaned before each rental due to COVID-19. 

 This comes with all base weights and quick release mount. 

 Glide Gear minijob in great condition. Only used a few times.

Tricky to set up but works well once done correctly.

For hire is my Glidecam HD2000 steadicam stabilizer. A Manfrotto quick release is included for quick transfer of camera between steadicam. This system is upgraded from the Glidecam XR-2000 and offers fine adjustments and an improved gimbal and balance system.

The kit comes with the Glidecam HD2000, 10 weights and a Manfrotto Quick Release plate.
