Hi I'm James, an impromptu DIY'er and a working professional. At the beginning of 2023 my partner and I decided to buy our first house, a Victorian end of terrace, not touched since the 70's with a leaky roof and derelict ceilings (which also happens to be our first house renovation project). Yeah...saying "we like a challenge" is an understatement. Our place has come on a long way since the beginning and we've still got some way to go, but it's proving the best decision we ever made. f I'm getting the best tool for the job (the operator has nothing to do with it of course!), and perhaps unsurprisingly, we quickly amassed a whole host of tools so we could tackle a variety of jobs ourselves. The tools you can see are all purchased new, and have been used for one or two jobs so far, and I'm hoping they prove useful to others who are tackling their own DIY projects too.
