Please always refer to the information here 🕐Time: We operate on a 24-hour rental basis, if you book for one day, the rental starts on the time you have arranged to meet up with us. And ends in 24 hours after the arranged time. In the case where we might be out and thus unable to arrange a drop off before the 24 hour ends, we won't be charging extra. Weekends are closed for returns but open for communication (Turnaround time may be longer), Saturday remains open for collections of rentals over £100 in value. Liabilities Some of our items may unfortunately be damaged but still usable (We will never hand out equipment that poses risk to health and safety), we will ALWAYS inform the next renter of issues that is present, and apply a discount or already renting out in a discounted price. The renter is fully warned and thus it is their own risk to continue renting the item, and therefore we are not liable for any accidents or damages that occur. 💷Discounts💷 👨🎓Student discounts: To redeem please send us a picture of a valid student ID (Not expired) to our instagram account: @houselight_studio or houselightstudio@gmail.com The current student discount is 20 percent off before fat llama fees. ‼️The student discount is only applicable if: 1. The rental fee exceeds £100 (Excluding Fat llama fees) 2. The project is a student / school / passion project. Students doing commercial/corporate projects will not be offered a discount. Please do not book the item directly and contact us, we will send a offer with a discounted price. Opening hours: We are currently operating on a flexible opening hour. Please contact us to confirm your return / pick up time and we will be there for you. 💸Refund Policy: We have encountered numerous renters looking for refunds due to various reasons, hence we are confirming our stance here. We will not refund for the following reasons: 1. Early returns 2. Item found to be incompatible with what you have while not being faulty itself (You need to do your own research! Or just contact us for help) 3. Item claimed to be faulty but working in our pre-rental video evidence (We test them extensively, and video them) Reservation We will not reserve items for you until you make a booking. The items are available in a first come first served manner. 🚝Delivery: We are currently not operating a delivery service, but in some cases we may be out and if you are nearby where we are going we could drop off the item. Please contact us for these. Notes on returning in case of disputes: Our procedure of receiving returns are of the following: 1. We are only counting the items when receiving back, and then will proceed to carry out a more thorough inspection of the items when we are in a well lit and controlled environment. Repair Cost -Should the item rented out return in a faulty state or in a deteroriated different from the state at which it is handed out, the renter agrees to be liable to pay for either -Replacement Cost which includes Tax and Shipping Or -Repair and quotation cost -Relevant Tax/Customs and delivery charges -Admin cost incurred -Any missed accepted rental when the item is undergoing repairs.
