Hey, That’s My Fish! is an abstract strategy game. A series of hexagons make up one big modular ice floe, so no two games will ever be alike. Between one and three fish sits on each hex. Players have penguins miniatures, each one starting on a hex, too. On a player’s turn, they move one of their penguins in a straight line (so in one of six directions, leaving their hex). They claim the fish token they were standing on – it gets removed from the ice floe. These penguins don’t like jumping! They can’t jump over other penguins, and neither can they jump across gaps created by the removal of hexes. The ice floe shrinks with every move. It’s possible to ‘trap’ your rivals, and leave them adrift as this iceberg reduces in size. Of course, they’ll aim to do the same to you! The trick is, can you snaffle up all the valuable fish in doing so? The player with the most fish at the end, when there are no moves remaining, is the winner. Suitable for 2 - 4 players, aged 7+. A typical game takes around 20 minutes.
