North Miami
I was born February 10th, 1987 in Miami, FL. Raised in an entrepreneurial, civic minded family, I don’t necessarily do one thing. So if I am to described what I do or what I am in one word, it would be creator. My name is Jean Denizard Berrouet Jr. but I’m commonly known as “Fresha Got The Kush”. I am a producer, I play piano and the bass guitar. I always loved creating ways to make money, music. I always loved to draw, write poetry and build things. In 2007, at 19 years old, sitting in class front row, I opened my note and started to draw a flyer for a recording studio, soon after that, I opened Blue Hill Studios. I didn’t really have any ed...
ucation on how to run a business, but I had a lot of passion and support from my family. In 2008, my son was born. I tried to juggle so many things around the time but I begun to lose focus and the studio as a business didn’t really last as long as I expected, however; it evolved into an entertainment company. I’ve been making music all my life, but I officially got a taste of the music industry in 2009 as an artist manager and CEO of 6-Deep Entertainment. My artist, Reese Head released a single called “Dhatt”, and from that record, we got so much attention. In 2010, My production team “Tha 4 Productions” was nominated for “Best Producer” at the Best in Dade awards and my entertainment company was nominated as “Best Group” in 2011. Starting 2012, I got into the vibe creating space, me & my team put together some of the first and dopest Kush Parties in my city. In 2014, I decided to take center stage as an artist. I launched FGK, the brand, at a launch party in Queens, NY for my debut album and also launch my merch, FGK Clothing Company some after that. Since the launch, I’ve performed for over 1,000 people when opening for TDE Schoolboy Q in Fort Lauderdale, FL, Jet Life Curren$y in Miami, FL, Travis Scott in Tampa, FL, Denzel Curry in Orlando, Fl, touring in California and doing festivals such as SXSW in Austin, TX and A3C in Atlanta, GA. Between 2016 and 2018, I went thru a growth and transitional period which lead me to opening Blue Hill Live Studios in 2017 and Fresha’s Juice Bar in 2018. I’m currently still running the studio, the juice bar. I’m still producing music and managing Miami’s new favorite artists No Jwettz.
