The H4n Handy Recorder has long been a favorite of audio and video aficionados everywhere. It offers four tracks of simultaneous recording, a built-in X/Y stereo microphone, and advanced features such as time stamping, phantom power and mid-side (MS) decoding. Rugged, lightweight and versatile, the H4n is a great audio companion for everything from live concert recording to location videography to music-making.

Mine has the latest firmware on it and a 4GB SD card (I have a 32GB one too if you want to but it takes forever to start up with a card that size). Missing the side panel that protects the card slot and the battery compartment is taped closed but records really well. If you want to borrow any headphones, a hotshoe mount, or XLRs with this one I'll thrown it in for free.

The US-1800 audio interface from TASCAM offers more inputs than any interface in its class. Up to 16 inputs and 4 outputs are transmitted to Mac or Windows over USB.
