This is a very unique camera, the first domestic camcorder which was launched by JVC in 1984, and is the the same model as used in BACK TO THE FUTURE. 

What you get when shooting is a very 1980s look - the colours are bright and vibrant..with a macro lens function so you can get sharp results when focusing closely. I'm going to upload some footage soon but this is a very close representation of it:-

It's a great camera, with rich colours and a nice filmic/grainy look to the footage which modern cameras just don't give you. It's very easy to use with automatic functions (focus, aperture) and manual zoom controls. It has some nice little features too like a backlight / spotlight button which is a nice touch.
