The Orion PRO has been strengthened to carry a maximum user weight of 25 stone and, with the upgraded, heavy duty batteries you can travel up to a maximum of 32 miles between charges, ensuring you can reach further destinations. Also, with the larger 12" pneumatic tyres, improved suspension system and ground clearance of 4" uneven terrainshould not pose a problem. Safety is not overlooked for style either. There is a full lighting system to the front and rear, including indicators and a powerful dual bulb headlight. The brake light also comes on automatically when you are slowing down. To disengage the scooter's drive is a two step process to avoid accidents. The Invacare Orion PRO also comes fitted with their patented speed reduction system. This slows the scooter to a sensible speed when cornering to ensure stability is maintained.
