The tone of this synth is the very best of 70s Roland. Similar but fatter than the 101. Bass and lead are it main strengths, these cut through a mix like no other. The oscs sound thick even just 1osc has real presence. Envelope are tight very good for dance style bass. VCF and VCA share the same envelope. ercussive edge to the sound which leads me on to about using the synth as a percussion generator. Using noise and filtration you can get some exact Eurhythmic analogue percussion.
