Get more done with a rented skid-steer! Our CAT 236D has a rated operating (lift) capacity of 1800 pounds. It is 5-1/2' wide so can fit in most tight areas. You can only float this with a serious trailer...it is 7000 pounds. If you are working in the Stittsville area you can possibly drive it directly to your worksite.

I've paddled dozens of canoes, and this is one of them. Sure, it may be a little "vintage", but that just gives it more character! With two adults and a fair amount of overnight gear it had plenty of freeboard to make you feel comfortable in rough water. It's main drawback is it's hefty weight, although reasonable for such a solid aluminum canoe. However, without a proper yoke, I'd highly recommend using two people for a portage.

I never needed to meet Kent in person, but was super nice to talk with via text. Kent was very communicative via SMS and the Ruckify App, gave detailed updates, and even supplied a photo to make the pick-up and drop-off of the equipment easy! I will try to rent from him again!
