Hurst park in Molesey has numerous spots to launch into the Thames and a large carpark. The spot in Hersham is into the River Mole (slightly tricky to launch but easier to park) where you can head upstream towards and past Cobham. It's very quiet, remote with wildlife and few or no people.

Used sea kayak, reasonably small cockpit so would suit child or small adult. Fast Boat, good lines, has a single hatch. 

I am based a couple miles from lepe and calshot beaches, also close to the river Beaulieu and Ashlet creek, all good for launching and paddling. 

You will need a roof rack with straps to move to launching points.
